This unit has been developed to overcome the problem of air progressively heating as it passes through a rack full of equipment.

When each piece of equipment has one of these units mounted directly above and below it, cool air is drawn in from the front; below the equipment, passed through the fans and then exhausted above at the rear. The Roof Fan tray then extracts the hot air without it passing through the other equipment.

Takes up 1RU to mount
